WA: Woman's ad for new kidney successful
PERTH, Feb 8 AAP - A Perth grandmother who advertised in a Western Australian newspaper
for a new kidney will undergo surgery tomorrow after a compatible donor answered her ad.
The 60-year-old woman received more than 150 emails and letters from across the world
after placing the advertisement in The Sunday Times last year.
She will be given a second chance at life thanks to the generosity of a 28-year-old
Perth man, who has been declared a perfect candidate for the operation.
