Store, has opened it's e-doors for business in Japan at
www.apple.co.jp/japanstore. Japanese customers can now purchase the latest
Macintosh hardware and software direct from Apple over the Internet, including
Apple's best-selling iMac and powerful new line of stunningly designed Power
Macintosh G3s.

store will complement Apple Japan's other sales channels and give our customers
the option to order products over the Internet from the convenience of their

Open 24 hours a
day, seven days a week, The Apple Store stocks a full line-up of products

The Apple Store's
debut in Japan is the latest roll-out for the popular online store. Operating
successfully in the United States since November 1997, The Apple Stores are
