BASK: Worry for Kings as Worthington is cited
SYDNEY, Feb 26 AAP - The Sydney Kings' NBL semi-finals campaign hit a bump today when
their leading scorer Mark Worthington was cited on a striking charge.
Worthington is in danger of being suspended before tomorrow night's second match of
their best-of-three match semi series against Perth Wildcats.
The Sydney forward was charged by the NBL with striking Perth's Shawn Redhage with
his elbow during the first quarter of the Kings' 101-98 win in game one at Sydney Entertainment
Centre last night.
